S.T.E.A.M.

What is S.T.E.A.M?

S.T.E.A.M. is an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics.

Why is S.T.E.A.M important for girls?

Did you know that girls usually lose interest in STEAM sujects between the ages of 11-15, and don't regain their interest back?

That's crazy!

STEM (Similar to STEAM) historically has had a lack of girls and women.

Girls time and time again have shown interest in STEAM, however, they get discouraged by bias, stereotypes, the lack of of female role models, and so much more.

My Goal for creating the S.T.E.A.M. branch for Anaya Writes is because I want to change the narrative about girls in STEAM and get them interested and engaged in STEAM subjects.
